Ocean Energy Council represents renewable ocean energy at Presidential Transition Team Meeting in DC PDF Print E-mail

The Ocean Energy’s Council’s president, Richard A. Meyer, was invited to represent ocean energy at the Presidential Transition Team Meeting with Renewable Energy Industry.

The meeting was moderated by Carole Browner, former EPA Administrator and now President Obama’s White House Energy and Environment Czar, and Dan Reicher, Climate Change & Energy Director for Google.

Attendees included the heads of the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA), Renewable Fuels Association (RFA), American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE), Solar Energy Industry Association (SEIA), Geothermal Energy Association GEA), National 

Hydropower Association (NHA) and the Ocean Energy Council (OEC).
