FERC issues permit for Alaska Tidal Energy Company PDF Print E-mail

FERC has issued a preliminary permit for the Alaska Tidal Energy Company for 50 to 150 Tidal in Stream Energy Conversion devices with an estimated annual generation of 8.76 gigawatt-hour per-unit-per year, which would be sold to a local utility. The proposed project would belocated in Kachemak Bay, In Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska.
