The Ocean Energy Online Library has 2 sections: The first is a list of private companies or governmental entities actively pursuing ocean energy. The list is broken down into the 5 forms of ocean energy detailed in the "What is Ocean Energy" section of this website. The second is a list of international organizations, both public and private, that provide information about energy with their website addresses. On many of these websites key words in their search engines are renewable/sustainable/alternative/non-fossil fuel. On some you will find an abundance of useful information about ocean energy; on others, very little. Clearly there are huge information gaps regarding getting the word out about ocean energy. That is the most significant task of this website and of the Ocean Energy Council.
